Rules for Choosing the Proper Wick:

1.  Wick recommendations are based upon paraffin wax candles with no additives and may need adjustments for specialty waxes, gel etc.

2.  Always test burn your candles and adjust your wick size if necessary.

3.  If your wick extinguishes itself and will not burn in your candle, use a hotter or larger size wick.

4.  If your candle is burning too hot and your wick needs to be trimmed frequently or mushrooms, adjust your size down to a cooler or smaller wick.
